Flourishing Neighborhood Index (FNI) Updates
We identified three key priority areas when we launched the Activation phase for FNI: Community Gathering Spaces, Lighting and Sidewalks, and Access to Food Resources. Since the last update, Coe College students have completed a capstone project to assist with Community Gathering Spaces. See the full report in an upcoming newsletter.
In the meantime, two projects are getting underway this summer.
Chain Reaction Bike Hub will be hosting monthly mobile safety workshops (Air in tires, Brakes, Chains). Future plans include a neighborhood bike ride!
Wellington Heights Neighborhood Association is taking the lead on a multi-year lamppost project to enhance street lighting, beautification, and character.
There is still opportunity for volunteers - Wellington Heights neighbors, WHCC friends and families, and YOU!
