Christmas Store: Sunday, December 13th 1-3 PM

The Christmas Store in Wellington Heights is a community-centered Christmas experience that gives parents and caregivers the opportunity to shop for brand-new Christmas gifts for their children at reduced prices. Rather than simply receiving pre-selected gifts, families are invited to choose gifts for their own children honoring the dignity, joy, and agency of giving. Gifts are priced at approximately 90% off retail value, and proceeds from the Christmas Store are reinvested into our neighborhood. The Christmas Store is hosted by Wellington Heights Community Church and made possible through the generosity of churches, businesses, organizations, and individuals throughout our community.

Families are invited to sign up here for an opportunity to shop for affordable, brand-new Christmas gifts for children and youth.

Important Shopping Information:

  • Registration is required.

  • Only one sign-up per household.

  • The Christmas Store is cash only.

  • Free gift wrapping will be available.

  • Nursery care will be available for children ages 6 months through 1st grade.

  • Shopping availability is dependent upon the number of gifts donated to the Christmas Store.

Completing the sign-up form does not guarantee a shopping time.

Families who receive a shopping spot will receive a confirmation email the week of November 22. Additional information about your shopping time, parking, arrival, and check-in will be sent before the event. FILL OUT INTEREST FORM HERE.

Whether you have a few hours to give or would like to help behind the scenes before the event, there is a place for you. Volunteer who would also like to shop the Christmas Store will receive early access to shopping before the community shopping hours begin. SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER

Help Stock the Store

Our goal is to collect 600 brand-new gifts for children and youth ages 5–16.

Individuals, churches, businesses, workplaces, clubs, and community groups are invited to host a gift drive or purchase gifts directly from our Amazon Wish List. Gifts purchased through the wish list can be shipped directly to Wellington Heights Community Church. Gift drop-off deadline: Tuesday, December 8.

The Christmas Store is more than a one-day event. It is an opportunity for our wider community to come alongside Wellington Heights families in a way that centers dignity, choice, generosity, and relationship.

  • Hosting a gift or wrapping paper drive at your workplace, church, school, or organization

  • Volunteering your time
