Embodiment Sunday (In-Person)

Together, let’s embody care for our bodies on October 27th!

On this Embodiment Sunday, we will gather at the church at 10 AM for a devotion, brief instructions, and the option to participate in a guided walk, run, or mindful movement (mindful movement will be held inside the church building).

Children and youth are invited to walk, run, or engage in mindful movement with their loved ones or participate in an activity upstairs with the Children’s Ministry team.

Mindful movement integrates physical activity (yoga) with mental awareness to foster a deeper connection between mind and body. It emphasizes the importance of being present and paying attention to bodily sensations, breath, and movements, which can reduce stress, increase focus, and improve overall well-being.

By incorporating mindful movement practices like chair yoga, walking meditation, and active stretching, mindful movement encourages individuals to slow down, tune into their bodies, and cultivate a sense of calm and balance in their daily lives.

You don't need any experience to participate! Yoga mats are helpful but aren't required.
